Nazaré: Great waves today

Nazaré was going off but our local waves were too big to ride, stunning day for February

A lovely day down at the beach today, bracing but beautiful blue skies.

Portugal frequently has lovely blue skies throughout the winter, the temperatures may not be suitable for overnight camping but the beaches are deserted as are the waves.  If you have a decent sleeping bag it is perfectly possible to camp to catch the early morning offshores.

For those interested in the beach conditions MEO -the local phone company- have a series of webcams stationed on the beaches link below http://beachcam.meo.pt/livecams/peniche-supertubos/. This is the feed for Supertubes, lot's of others available there.
